Make Music Day, June 21, 2017

Local Music and Live Band Karaoke in Lafayette!

What is Make Music Day?

Held annually on June 21, Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Musique, taking place in 700 cities across 120 countries. The daylong, musical free-for-all celebrates music in all its forms, encouraging people to band together and play in free public concerts.

This year, Lafayette is excited to participate in Make Music Day. Restaurants will feature live music while you dine. Live band karaoke, singing, ukuleles and crafts will be in the Plaza 6pm-8:30pm.

Sign up for Live Band Karaoke!

This is your chance to sing with a live band! Eighteen slots are available for lead singers and instrument accompaniments.

Choose your song from our list and email us your contact information along with your chosen song. Deadline is Monday, June 20 at 5pm. We will fill lead singer positions first, then instrumental accompaniments based on those 18 songs. Send your song selection and all contact information to us at jay@lafayettechamber.org. We will confirm your participation in the event via email.
