The Lafayette Chamber offers our local businesses, organizations and members the opportunity to showcase your business to our community through the following events.
Fun, family-friendly celebration – tree lighting, live music, community sing-a-long, photo booth, crafts — and Santa’s “sleigh” as Lafayette’s historic fire truck, Old Betsy!
Past Events 2017:
The 4th Annual Dogtown Downtown will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10am-12pm at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center & the Lafayette Plaza.
The tour begins in Downtown Lafayette at the Bank of the West. From there, 500 ticket holders (all were sold in 2017!) will go at their own pace to any – or all – of the participating restaurants. The evening wraps up with dessert and coffee, more music, and the raffle drawing.
It’s the “Summer of Love” in Lafayette! Fridays in June. Music starts at 6:30pm, Shake Down Street “Hippie Market” starts at 6:00pm. Band plays 6:30pm-8:30pm. “Hoot Nannie” sing along by the Firepit at 8:30pm.
The Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, held each year on the third weekend in September, is the largest event in Lamorinda and one of the five biggest outdoor festivals in Contra Costa County. Over 50,000 attended in 2016, strolling among stalls of art, handmade crafts, sampling foods from top local restaurants, and enjoying quality wines and microbrews.
Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs on leashes take on the town at the Lafayette Res Run for Education. Proceeds benefit local schools. Runs start at 8am. Vendor fair, music, kids activities and breakfast show support for the 1500+ athletes.
